How to Make Guaraná Latte at Home

How to Make Guaraná Latte at Home

How to Make a Guaraná Latte at Home

One of the best things about Guaraná Latte is how easy it is to make.

You do not need a coffee machine, a grinder or any special equipment. You just need Guaraná Latte, boiling water, milk or your favourite milk alternative, and a minute.

It can be made hot, iced or blended into a smoothie, which makes it a simple coffee alternative for mornings, afternoons or whenever you want a smoother kind of lift.

What you need

To make a Guaraná Latte at home, you will need:

Vallentine & Co Guaraná Latte
Boiling water
Warm or cold milk, depending on how you are making it
A spoon, small whisk or milk frother
A cup, glass or small jug
Ice, if making it cold

Our blend is made with whole-seed guaraná, Australian bush honey, cinnamon and nutmeg, so the flavour is already built in. You do not need to add sweetener unless you like it sweeter.

How much Guaraná Latte should you use?

We recommend one 10g serve.

That gives you a good balance of flavour, body and energy without needing to overdo it.

If you are new to guaraná, start with one serve and see how it feels for you. Guaraná naturally contains caffeine, so it is best treated like a functional drink rather than something to sip endlessly all day.

How to make a hot Guaraná Latte

A hot Guaraná Latte is warm, smooth and comforting, with the honey and spices coming through properly.

To make it:

Add one 10g serve of Guaraná Latte to your cup.
Add a small splash of boiling water.
Stir well until the blend softens and comes together.
Top with warm milk or your preferred milk alternative.
Stir again, or froth if you want a creamier finish.

The trick is to dissolve the Guaraná Latte with a small amount of boiling water first. This helps the honey and whole-seed guaraná loosen properly before you add milk, giving you a smoother drink.

You can finish it with a light sprinkle of cinnamon if you like.

How to make an iced Guaraná Latte

An iced Guaraná Latte is cold, creamy and refreshing. It is a great option when you want a coffee alternative that still feels satisfying, but lighter than a hot drink.

To make it:

Fill a glass with ice.
Add cold milk or your preferred milk alternative.
In a small glass or jug, add one 10g serve of Guaraná Latte.
Add a small splash of boiling water.
Stir well until smooth.
Pour the Guaraná Latte mixture over the iced milk.
Stir gently.

You can also top it with a little frothed milk if you want a creamier café-style finish.

Using boiling water first helps the blend come together before it hits the cold milk. This gives you a smoother iced drink and stops the Guaraná Latte from sitting at the bottom of the glass.

How to make a Guaraná Latte smoothie

Guaraná Latte also works well in smoothies.

This is a good option if you want something more filling, or if you like having your energy drink with breakfast after training, a walk or a busy morning.

For the smoothest result, dissolve the Guaraná Latte in a small splash of boiling water first, then add it to your blender with the rest of your ingredients.

A simple smoothie idea:

One 10g serve of Guaraná Latte
A small splash of boiling water
One banana
Milk or your preferred milk alternative
A spoon of yoghurt or coconut yoghurt
Ice
Optional: nut butter, protein powder, oats or cacao

Blend until smooth.

The honey, cinnamon and nutmeg work well with banana, cacao, vanilla, oats and nut butter. It gives the smoothie a warm spiced flavour while the whole-seed guaraná brings the energy base.

This makes it useful beyond a standard latte. You can build it into your routine depending on how you like to start the day.

How to make it smoother

For the smoothest result, start by mixing the Guaraná Latte with a small amount of boiling water before adding milk.

This works for both hot and iced drinks. The boiling water helps soften the honey and whole-seed guaraná so the blend comes together properly.

For iced drinks, make the Guaraná Latte mixture separately in a small glass or jug, then pour it over ice and cold milk.

You can also use a small whisk, handheld frother or blender if you want a creamier finish. Milk alternatives like oat, almond and coconut can all work, though each one changes the flavour slightly.

Oat milk gives a creamier café-style feel.
Almond milk keeps it lighter.
Coconut milk adds a richer, tropical note.

There is no one perfect way to make it. The best version is the one you actually enjoy every day.

When to drink Guaraná Latte

Guaraná Latte is usually best enjoyed in the morning or early afternoon.

It works well as a morning coffee alternative when you want energy and focus without the sharp edge you may get from coffee.

It can also work as an afternoon lift when you want something smoother than another coffee, especially if you still have work, training, parenting or a long day ahead.

Because guaraná naturally contains caffeine, we would not recommend drinking it too late in the day if you are sensitive to caffeine.

Why it works as a coffee alternative

A good coffee alternative should still feel satisfying.

It should give you warmth, flavour and energy, not just a weaker version of something you used to enjoy.

Guaraná Latte was created for people who want that café-style moment, but want the energy to feel smoother and more sustained.

Whole-seed guaraná gives it the natural energy base. Australian bush honey adds softness and body. Cinnamon and nutmeg bring warmth and depth.

The result is a drink that feels familiar enough to enjoy every day, but different enough to be worth switching for.

Hot, iced or blended

There are a few ways to make Guaraná Latte at home, and that is part of what makes it easy to use.

Have it hot when you want something warm and grounding.

Have it iced when you want something cold, creamy and refreshing.

Blend it into a smoothie when you want something more filling.

However you make it, the idea is the same: a smooth coffee alternative made with whole-seed guaraná, Australian bush honey and warming spices.
